I’ve upgraded the gallery to the latest stable release.
I went through all my sites today, checking that all scripts, plugins etc. were up-to-date and also did some general cleaning. I’m also taking into a use a further refined alert system that makes it possible for me to post hiatus, server problem etc. notices both on my main domain Crystal Fires that must have everything and only to the site in question (when it comes back online) unlike to all my sites like before – it’s also possible post it on the main domain as well as to either all sites if all are affected or to say to 3, if only 3 sites are affected. So less off topic news to each site with this upgrade.
This post works as a test of the refined system: if everything works as it should, this post should show up on all of my sites.
The renewal/transfer went finally though after I had the problem e-mail resent for 4 times and one of them made it through! The site will continue operating at http://www.fight-tomorrow.net 
I may have to buy a new domain for this site (fight-tomorrow.net) – so this is a heads-up that should this domain come up expired one day soon when you visit, visit my site http://www.crystalfires.net – you will find the new URL there.
Below is the explanation why…
I’m having the same trouble trying to transfer this domain (fight-tomorrow.net) away from Netfirms as I did with two other domains a couple of months ago :< Some of the needed authorization e-mails aren’t coming through. I think it’s to do with Netfirms, because all the time I’ve been with them only some of their e-mails (mostly their marketing e-mails) have come through, while the important ones such as notifications about domain about to expire, do not. I never had this problem with other registrars before moving to Netfirms. So I’m moving all my domains away from Netfirms when I need to renew them.
There’s 27 days left to renew fight-tomorrow.net, and I started to process three days ago. So far, already at step one, one authorization e-mail has failed to arrive two times and the process can’t continue until I get it and approve it :< If they continue to fail to arrive, I will have to buy a new domain because I will not renew it at Netfirms because of their e-mail problems. I’ll give it a few more days to succeed though before I decide about the new domain.
All affiliates that weren’t linking back to Fight Tomorrow, or links were dead, have been deleted!
